28 Times Cinema

We are looking for 3 talented cinema enthusiasts from Pécs to get to the Venice Film Festival! If you are between the ages of 18 and 25 you speak English and you communicate well in speaking and writing, if you are happy to write articles or blogs, if you are not afraid of the camera, if you love to talk about movies - Apollo Cinema and Europa Cinemas is looking for you! Become a Lux-Prize Embassador to represent Hungary at Europe's oldest film festival in Venice, together with the other 27 countries of the EU, between 27 August and 8 September 2019, all expenses paid!

Make a video-selfie on what you love about cinema (technical and content expectations below) and get it to us. The three best entries will be selected by Team Apollo, then forwarded to the Europa Cinemas Jury, the final decision being theirs.

Co-organized with the European Parliament's LUX Prize and the Giornate degli Autori, "28 TIMES CINEMA" has been held every year since 2010. Deadline for submission is April 18, 2019.

Technical and Content Requirements: Full HD 1920x1080 px video with 30 seconds length, stating your name and country. Start the video with the phrase "What do I love in cinema…" - For inspiration here you can see previous successful entries. The field is strong: we expect creativity and quality!
