While navigating daily discrimination, a filmmaker inhabiting and loving her unusual body searches the world for someone like her. She explores what it takes to love oneself fiercely, despite the pervasiveness of ableism.
Ella Glendining is a writer and director committed to telling authentic stories of people with disabilities. She writes and directs short films with support from Film4, the BFI, Arts Council England, Screen South and the National Paralympic Heritage Trust. He was selected as one of Screen International's 'Stars of Tomorrow' in 2020. He is currently working on a feature film, Curiosities of Fools, commissioned by the BFI.
