Finnish film festival
FinnAgora, the Finnish institute in Budapest, is organizing a three day Finnish film festival in Pécs. The film days will take place from 21.4-23.4 at Apolló Mozi in Pécs. The following films will be screened, all with Hungarian and English subtitles:
Tove, directed by Zaida Bergroth. — April 21 at 7 p.m.
A film about the Finnish-Swedish artist Tove Jansson and her life in post-war Helsinki.

Any Day Now (Ensilumi) directed by Hamy Ramezan. — April 22. 8 p.m.
A story of an Iranian refugee family in Finland waiting for the decision on their asylum status.

Eatnameamet, directed by Suvi West. — April 23. 6 p.m.
This documentary film is about the treatment of the indigenous people of Northern Finland, the Sámi, by the state of Finland.

The Blind Man Who Did Not Want to See Titanic, (Sokea mies joka ei halunnut nähdä Titanicia), directed by Teemu Nikki. — April 23. 8 p.m.
The film is from the perspective of Jaakko, a blind and paralyzed man, who goes on the simple journey of taking a train to see his girlfriend.
