How to Have Sex
Molly Manning Walker's first film won the top prize in the Un Certain Regard section of the 76th Cannes Film Festival, and deservedly so: from the first minute, How to Have Sex is as energetic as a teenager on the edge of her seat.
The film authentically portrays the carefree, almost rule-free lives of young people, while beneath the glittering surface it delves into the depths of the emotional and sexual vulnerability of Generation Z. Three best friends, Tara, Skye and Em, are thrown into the nightlife in the summer after high school in the youth-filled Greek seaside town of Malia. Hoping for the best and most intense summer of their lives, the trio fail to weigh the weight of their decisions.
The film is accompanied by the Hungarian animated short film "27" (11 minutes, 2023) by Anna Buda Flóra (PG18), which won the Palme d'Or for the best short film at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.
