István Várdai is a world-class Hungarian musician and one of the most sought-after cellists of our time. In addition to his solo career, he is artistic director of the Liszt Ferenc Chamber Orchestra and professor at the Vienna Academy of Music, giving master classes all over the world, and is still only in his thirties. Through his story, a glimpse into his life, we see what it takes to have a unique talent. How can you achieve so much and be everywhere at such a young age? Is it even possible? Is it running away from something or is it pure dedication? Is talent a blessing? Or does it make life more difficult, especially when combined with ambition and a sense of mission? An honest and inspiring portrait-documentary about an outstanding artist.
